It all new after 90 years as law experts practice on a Saturday
One of Coalville’s most established legal practices has broken with nearly 90 years of tradition by opting to open on a Saturday.
Quality Solicitors Mander Cruickshank, which dates back to 1923 decided to open their doors on a weekend as a result of the demands of modern life.
Jim Abbott, a senior partner in the firm said the development was a significant one, not only for the practice but for the people of the town.
“Twenty first century life is hectic and not everyone can make the time to see their solicitors in the traditional nine to five Monday to Friday slot,” said Mr Abbott.
“Whilst the traditional values of trust and customer care which are so valued are still there, we must adopt to this current world and be seen to be changing with the times.”
“We want our doors on Belvoir Road to be wide open to the people of Coalville, who we are happy to help whatever their legal queries,” he added.
The practice whilst maintaining its identity joined the national QualitySolicitors group earlier this year, which is by invitation only to progressive law firms across the UK providing the highest standards of legal advice for individuals and businesses.
Mr Abbott said he hoped the new move would encourage shoppers to think legal when they are out and about at a weekend.
“As local experts we pride ourselves on helping customers who want high quality face to face help and our first advice is free,” he added.
