Susan Pendleton

Non-Equity Partner, Senior Solicitor

I qualified as a Solicitor in 2001 having gained a law degree with honours and then a post graduate diploma in law. I worked as a paralegal for a year and then completed my training contract for a further two years.

I have extensive experience in property and residential conveyancing from working at medium and large Solicitors Firms for the last 20 years.

I stared my career in a medium sized firm in Ashby-de-la-Zouch in which I worked my way up to partner level. Over the 11 years that I was there I ran a team of between 7-19 people.

I then become a Senior Associate in a Legal 200 Firm in Nottingham where I acted for high net worth clients and a large multinational company who regularly relocated their employees.

I then headed the Residential Property Department at another local firm where I supervised a department of 10 people which spanned 4 different offices.

I joined Mander Cruickshank LLP in July 2018 and became Head of Department in September 2018 and I now head up a team of 4 in our Coalville office.

I have extensive experience in:

  • Buying and selling freehold and leasehold property.
  • Remortgaging and further advances
  • Equity Release
  • Transfers of Equity
  • Property transfers in divorce settlements
  • Gifting property
  • Probate Sales
  • Probate transfers
  • Assents
  • Auction packs
  • Auction sales
  • Pre-auction advice
  • Auction purchases
  • Voluntary registrations

I offer a personal service to my clients. If you would prefer to communicate with me via email then you can email me or if you would prefer to speak to me you can either telephone me or make an appointment to come and see me. Moving house can be a stressful time and the key to keeping those stress levels down is to communicate. I pride myself in understanding my clients needs and work closely with my clients to achieve their desired outcome.
